The Schenck School

Website Strategy & Delivery

The Schenck School has spent decades transforming the lives of students with dyslexia, empowering them with the tools, confidence, and instruction they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond. Their work is deeply personal, rooted in understanding, individualized learning, and long-term success. Collaborating closely with the designer, we delivered a digital experience that feels welcoming, intuitive, and aligned with the school’s voice and vision.

01

A learning environment built on confidence and connection

The Schenck School’s approach to dyslexia education is rooted in empathy, structure, and proven methods that help students thrive both academically and emotionally. But their previous website wasn’t telling that story.

We set out to build a digital presence that not only informed, but reassured. One that would speak to prospective families in search of answers, and make it easier for all visitors to explore what makes Schenck different, from admissions through alumni support.

02

Clarifying the message, streamlining the experience

From the start, the focus was on building a site that clearly communicated The Schenck School’s mission while serving the distinct needs of prospective families, current parents, and those engaging with their broader programs. I collaborated closely with the school to shape content priorities and homepage structure, ensuring the site could communicate warmth, expertise, and accessibility within just a few clicks.

As the designer brought the vision to life, I reviewed early drafts with a strategic lens, offering feedback grounded in client goals and ensuring continuity between messaging and visuals.

03

A welcoming, mission-driven site for a transformational school

The final site strikes a careful balance. It feels professional yet warm, structured yet personal. Visitors can now understand the heart of Schenck School within just a few clicks, whether they’re exploring the admissions process, learning about dyslexia, or accessing support as part of the broader Schenck community.

The redesign doesn’t just tell people what Schenck does, it shows them who the school is: a place where bright students with dyslexia are understood, challenged, and set up to thrive.
