Transforming financial education into a member engagement experience
When Service One Credit Union set out to develop a new financial education program, it wasn’t just about sharing budgeting tips, it was about meeting members where they are and helping them feel empowered about their money.
From building credit to buying a home, each topic needed to be informative without feeling overwhelming, and it all needed to reflect Service One’s brand, simplify complex topics, connect across platforms, and truly resonate with Gen Z, Millennials, and Gen X alike.

Designing a full-circle learning journey
Each workshop was written and designed to maximize clarity and engagement, with branded presentations, downloadable worksheets, and hands-on tools like a customizable Google Sheets budget calculator.
The experience extended beyond the live sessions. A custom landing page housed all video content, allowing members to revisit materials at their own pace, whether joining live or watching on demand.

To support engagement, the series was promoted through coordinated in-branch and digital campaigns. From social media graphics and signage to resource sheets and take-home tools, every element tied back to the overarching brand story.
What started as a workshop series grew into an enduring member experience. Now spanning 11+ topics, it continues to serve as a key engagement tool, demonstrating Service One’s commitment to supporting its members far beyond products, and positioning the credit union as a trusted partner in lifelong financial wellness.
